Demi Bra

Some people, especially men and teenaged girls, think that bras are a simple matter. They think that there is really only one kind of bra and that bra just comes in different sizes and colors. Those people, thankfully, are wrong. There are many different kinds of bras for many different kinds of occasions. One of the more popular bras that strike out against what's normal is the demi bra. If you are new to women's fashion and undergarments, then you may wonder, 'what is a demi bra?' Well, you won't have to wonder about it anymore. It is actually very simple.

The most obvious difference between a demi cup bra and a regular bra is the coverage. Regular bras cover much of the breast while usually leaving a bit of the top bare for enticement purposes. Demi bras are a bit different than this. Instead of having the full coverage that you find in regular bras, front close demi bras really only cover the lower half of the breast. They leave the nipples and areole bare. In essence, when you define demi bra you are letting people know that it is more a tool of keeping the breasts from sagging rather than covering them. These sexy demi bras are usually worn with very low cut dresses and other classy women's wear. Normally, you wouldn't be able to wear a regular bra with a low cut top because the bra would show. When you describe a demi bra, you will see that it takes care of this problem for you. People won't be able to see your bra, but you will have the added support that an under wire bra can bring. They also hold you in place a bit more than having no bra at all. Since a lot of the breast is uncovered, it may be unwise to clad the bigger, more unruly breasts in these bras. For this reason, it is awfully hard to find a 46D demi bra anywhere. It is just not recommended to wear them at this size because you will most likely fall out of the bra.

There are few brands that actually offer the microfiber demi bra to consumers because it tends to be a specialty item. If you want an older one that isn't on the market anymore, you can find discontinued Liz Claiborne demi bras through the company's official internet website.
